Thumbs Down - Had a bunch of Notre Dame fans next to us. They are very anoying...why are they even here? Assholes. What the hell...And ofcourse the search continues still have not found a Notre Dame fan that actually went to Notre Dame - we are now 0 for 4,264. Probabaly IU basketball fans as well. Do thease people not know how shallow and worthless they are? They are the Spice Girls of football fans. I would be ashamed....

Minnesota (COWBOY DAY)
Thumbs Up - Great BBQ. Hats make us feel cool.
Thumbs Down - The ND fans again are just not ready to be left unsupervised yet. I have to beleive their parents would not be proud...too much stuf...too much alcohol...at to imature an age. First time in 17 years we left early do too other tailgaters. No Class! No self respect! No respect for anyone else! Ever see the King Of the Hill episode when hank says "Peggy we forgot to teach our boy shame."A sub species...nuff said.
Michigan (GUMBO DAY)
Thumbs Up - Niccole! I am not sure with is my favorite food day anymore. Gumbo and Ocktoberfest run neck and neck.

CMU
Thumbs Up - Kory Sheets!
Thumbs Down - Jim Lanthrop...which team was more physical? STILL CANNOT TACKLE?!! Now the defense is ranked 103rd out of 119 division 1 teams.
Purdue @ Notre Dame
Thumbs Up - Kory Sheets! I am sorry that you ave. over 6 yards a carry and Tiller just wanted to throw the ball. Very sorry...you have our sympathy...keep your self healthy first...do what Tiller wants second.
Thumbs Down - Morgan Burke. I guess we did decide to do the "Gene Keady special victory lap and let the program bottom out" deal. Spack cannot coach tackling. 103rd out of 119 tells the TRUTH!

2008 RBT Season Awards!
Tailgaters:
Toni & Niccole
Players:
Kory Sheets & Anthony Heygood
For tailgaters, we have to go with Niccole, she spent one of the last weekends she will have off cooking gumbo and tailgating, and Tony, he made one of the best beer runs I have seen in a while. The Theme tailgates also get a big thumbs up. I think they really liven things up.For the football team its kind of tough with the poor performance and all. Kory and Hegood are the only ones that come to mind for thumbs up. If I had to give an MVP it would be Kory for the scoring record and gutty performance in a couple of games when no one else seemed to show up.For thumbs down it has to go to Curtis. I know he lost a lot of WR's and an NFL caliber TE, but he played really bad in a couple of games, did his usual disappearing act in the big games, and just did not play like a senoir until the season was over. After seeing ND finish 6-6 and Minnesota finish 7-5, its obvious we got beat down by a couple of mediocre teams.2007 RBT AWARDS

Purdue @ IU
Thumbs Down - Morgan Burke. Joe road off into the sunset 3 years ago. All this is your fault. Lets not have another Gene Keady victory lap while letting the program bottom out. Oh wait we lost to IU..........
Purdue @ CMU
Motor City Bowl
Thumbs Up - Painter is the best QB in the nation vs Horid defenses....So he was fantastic. Keller was great as was Orton and Standeford.
Thumbs Down - Man this defense sucks
Things That Make you go hmmmm - "Apparently" Painter had a "rotor cuff" injury that just happens to have occured durring Purdue's losses @ the end of the season????......Never heard about it until the motor city bowl......sooo with a healthy Painter Purdue would be 11 - 2??........hmmmmmmmm. Thumbs Down - None really, great day.
Purdue VS. Ball State
Thumbs Up - Zoey, thanks for all the help. Thanks to all our tailgaters.
Thumbs Down - I think the Porta Johns need to be updated. Did Purdue get thease whole sale or something?
Purdue VS. Minnesota
Thumbs Up - Ocktober Fest!! Great time had by all. The weather was great no rain. We almost got our old spot.
Thumbs Down - People who have no respect for tailgating. Most are great, but the small number that leave trash all over the place make us sick!! RESPECT YOU TAILGATE SPOT! Don't look at tailgating as a reason to act like your 17 years old with unlimited beer and no adult supervision. GROW UP!!
Purdue VS. Wisconsin
Thumbs Up - Greek Fest!! Beutiful day.
Thumbs Down - Man those Porta Johns are rough!
Purdue VS. Penn State
Thumbs Up - Looks like we got another theme - Cowboy Day! The tarp was the tailgater of the week. The EZUP made it the intire day in gailforce winds.
Purdue VS. Indiana
Thumbs Up - Nicole thank you for the GUMBO! and Jello Shots! A Rowe Brothers Tailgate Shout Out to Krista for getting us some more wood, Wallman and I could not have stayed as long as we did with out it.
Thumbs Down - Purdue needs new Porta Johns next year, I am not even sure those a leagle in this country.
RBT PLAYERS OF THE GAME
Purdue VS. ISU
Thumbs Up - The new turf
Thumbs Down - Entire defense was horrible, the offense played well sometime and seemed not to care sometimes. Need to coach that defense boys!
Purdue VS. Miami of Ohio
Thumbs Up - Bryant had eight catches. The special teams units had some decent run backs, hit a long field goal. Spencer and Bick played hard all day.
Thumbs Down - Need a pass rush all game, Painter struggles badly at times.
Purdue VS. Ball State
Thumbs Up - Dustin Keller, man among Boys!! Curtis Painter, when he's good he's good. Linebackers Played hard. Cliff Avril has a pass rush. Terrell Vinson got a pic in the redzone.
Thumbs Down - Curtis Painter, when he's bad he's bad. Linebakers Drop way to deep in pass coverage. DB'S were closer to receivers this week, but not enough plays.
Purdue VS. Minnesota
Thumbs Up - George Hall - Great Pic in the endzone. Dustin Keller 6 catches 119 yards. J. Taylor big runs in the second half. A. Spencer!! Well done.
Thumbs Down - Line Backers Drop two deep. 1 punt return yard. Only 59 plays - but a 7.1 yard per play ave.
Purdue @ Notre Dame
Thumbs Up - Selwyn Lymon - 8 catches for 238 yards and 2 TD's, Offensive line played well. A. Spencer.
Thumbs Down - Joe Tiller, Brock Spack, Lou Anarumo, Terrell Williams, Mark Hagen. Jeezus Christ. Next year when ever Notre Dame wants a first down it will throw a 10 yard out or a screen! Want me to say it again??? Jeezus Christ. Next year when ever Notre Dame wants a first down it will throw a 10 yard out or a screen! It looked like ZERO improvement since the ISU game. Really! The KEY is to make an adjustment BEFORE you lose!!!
Purdue @ Iowa
Thumbs Down - Joe Tiller, Brock Spack, Lou Anarumo, Terrell Williams, Mark Hagen. Laying down and letting another team walk all over you reminds us of last year. Its not to late, either MAN UP or PEE down the side of your leg. We are pointing the finger right at you!
Note to Pete Quinn. Iowa starts as many freshman on defense as we do, Shut up.
Purdue @ Northwestern
Thumbs Up - Curtis Painter (431 passing yards), Offensive line, Greg Orton (13 catches - 144 yards), Dustin Keller (TD), J. Taylor, Anthony Spencer, Ryan Baker (5 sacks by the D)
Thumbs Down - Special teams. Summers (2-5 in last 7 field goal attempts) Northwestern coaching - Back to back delay of game penalties when trying for a field goal, giving a freshman tackle no help against A. Spencer.
Purdue VS. Wisconsin
Thumbs Up - Offensive line and Defensive line
Thumbs Down - Painter was poor. Dorein Bryant - if you are going to pitch fits on the side line when you don't get the ball you have to make plays on the field when you do. Joe Tiller - don't be a wuss, go for it on 4th and 1.
Purdue VS. Penn State
Thumbs Up - NONE
Thumbs Down - ALL
Purdue @ Michigan State
Thumbs Up - Dorein Bryant - 7 catches for 96 yards and 2 TDs, Jaycen Taylor 4 carries 22 yards - 6 catches for 90 yards. George Hall 8 tackles, Justin Scott 1 INT. Casey Welch FG
Thumbs Down - Chris Summers 0-2 FG, Joe Tiller for not swaping out kickers earlier. Curtis Painter does just enough to beat a bad team.
Purdue @ Illinois
Thumbs Up - Dorein Bryant, 9 catches 120 yards 1 TD, 1 rushing TD - Kory Sheets 17 carries 74 yards 1 TD - Anthony Spencer, Alex Magee - Offensive line
Thumbs Down - The Juice, like 9 fumbles or something. Summers missed field goal, no other coach in the nation would put up with that. Linebackers 316 yards rushing - Painters passing.
Purdue VS. Indiana
Thumbs Up - Jake Standerford won the game with his hustle.
Thumbs Down - Joe Tiller for not giving the hook to Painter. I have never seen so many recievers open in a game before. Anyother QB plays and it's a blowout. This defense is still bad.
Purdue @ Hawaii
Thumbs Up - Punting ave @ 49.5 - recievers made some great plays. Painter Hot
Thumbs Down - Defense - Punt returns... well Hawaii only punted once. Painter Cold. Joe Tiller hates Hawaii.
Champs Sports Bowl
Thumbs Up - J. Guinn and S. Kegler
Thumbs Down - Morgan Burke, everyone knows Joe Tiller does not care so the only person to blame is Morgan for not doing anything about it.

Thumbs Up - Thanks Tony and Troy for the food and company
Thumbs Down - Purdue oversold the D lot and People got turned away, probably because we win so much. Oh wait.....
Purdue VS. Iowa
Thumbs Down - Morgan Burke, way to blame the tailgaters for you guys overselling lot D passes. Way to let people bribe their way into the lot. Somehow all of the problems Purdue has became our fault??? You guys screw up - you guys punish us! Thanks A holes.
Purdue VS. Northwestern
Thumbs Up - Great Day, Great Food, Great Friends.
Purdue VS. Michigan State
Thumbs Up - All thoses who ate the meatballs!
Thumbs Down - That one parking dude. This most be the only thing going in his life and he acts like some kinda retarded general. "I am the parking god, all tremble at my golf cart and dispair" Something like that must be racing through this idiots head.
Purdue VS. Illinois
Thumbs Up - The weather! Middle of November and I am hot?? Wallman worked hard to feed us. Great Spread!
Thumbs Down - The guy who aparently could not find a porta john (or was just to lazy) and just peed on the side of his buddies truck all day in front of everyone. Nice, real nice.
RBT Tailgaters of the year awards for 2005:
Jerk - M. Burke : Caters program to fair weather fans, build up preseason hype to satisfy them, then turns on the diehards who kept this program alive during the dark years when things got tough. Way to go Morgan. Coach - Whoever is married to that hot chick who was out collecting money for the coaches wives charity. Three kids and she still looked like she could fit into her old cheerleader outfit.Tailgaters of the Year - R.B.T....R.B.T. We lost our spot due to bureaucratic incompetence, got stuck in Rowe's rut twice, yet we persevered to have another great tailgate season. Assuming they don't completely screw us over during the off season, we will be back next year. Hopefully in 2006 you will be able to find us near a tree, or barring that, on Paul's Peak.RBT PLAYERS OF THE GAME 2005

Thumbs Down - Pass Defense, Punt Returns were a big zero.
Purdue @ Minnesota
Thumbs Down - Brock Spack and the OVER HYPED Defense get bitch slapped all day long.
Thumbs Down - Joe Tiller, "Well thease kids can learn from this." Evidently they can't Joe, remeber all the defensive let downs last year?????? The year before???????? No?? Well, we do!!

Thumbs Up - I like this O line
Purdue VS. Northwestern
Thumbs Up - Andre Chattams, Dorien Briant.
Thumbs Down - All the players who don't care anymore.
Purdue @ Wisconsin
Thumbs Up - - Painter's arm. He has a cannon of an arm. Painter actually running the option. Defense - Rushing defense stuffed Calhoun - Ninkovich played like a man possessed.
Thumbs Down - Thumbs Down - Painter's throwing touch. He has none, everything is at 100 mph and on a rope (no arc to his throws). Painter's head. Made some big mistakes. 3 INT's, 2 returned. Defense - Gave up two easy TD's on passing play. When they made UW work for it, they looked like last year's defense.
Purdue @ Penn State
Thumbs Up - Defense Still Playing better
Thumbs Down - The Qb position has been poor all year
Purdue VS. Michigan State
Thumbs Up - Offensive Line, Curtis Painter, Rob Nickovich, Dorein Bryant, Defnsive Backs.
Thumbs Down - Punting and kicking
Purdue VS. Illini
Thumbs Up - Ofensive Line, thease guys can play! Defensive line played with heart and fire.
Thumbs Down - Illinois beat themselves at every turn. Ben Jones still cant find the touch he had as a sophmore.
Purdue @ IU
Thumbs Up - Rob Nickovich, Perhaps the only player to live up to his hype this year. Thank you Rob, you will be missed!
Thumbs Up - Ray Edwards deciding to go pro. GET OUT!!! Defense gets better right away! Thank you Ray, you will NOT be missed!
Thumbs Up - Offensive Line. Best in years. Great Job guys!!
Thumbs Up - Curtis Painter, still running the option well.
Rowe Brothers Tailgate Player of the year for 2005:
Nominees:
Offense - M. Turner : New line mates, new offense, rotating QB's, yet Purdue rushes better than in the past couple of years and only gives up 8 sacks. Although Painter looks like he can run the offense the way Tiller wants it run, the three teams he beat were a combined 1-15 the last five games of the season, so lets not get too excited just yet.Defense - R. Ninkovich : Intensity really picked up after he moved into starting line up and it showed all across the field.Special Teams - D. Brytus : Anybody but B. Jones. After one great year, he looked like someone who should be playing for Butler the last two.Disappointment - R. Edwards : Doesn't produce to level of preseason hype, loses his job to Ninkovich, defense improves, then bolts to NFL?.2005 RBT player of the year: Tie between - Matt Turner, Mike Otto, Jordan Grimes, Robbie Powell, and Sean Sester and Nickovitch. Congrats fellows.

RBT - TAILGATERS OF THE WEEK - 2004
Purdue VS. Syracuse - The Parking people were great, let us park where we wanted. Keep it up!
Purdue VS. Ball State - Matchew, thanks for the buckets of wings! mmmm mmmmm gooooooooood.
Purdue VS. Wisconsin - Ricky, thanks for the wood - NOT to all the idiots that ran to the game day set yelling "Look at me, look at me!!!"
Purdue VS. Michigan - Parking people are still doin good
Purdue VS. Ohio State - Turkey Ruben turns around the season
Purdue VS IU - All of us. Except those People who are Unable to Tailgate Serously.
RBT - PLAYER OF THE GAME -
Purdue VS. Syracuse - Offensive Line - Defensive line. Orton was hardly bothered by the Orange pass rush, the backs had some good holes. Purdue put good heat on the 'cuse QB's and held Reyes to 31 yards on 12 caries. Nod to Paul Long who started for an injured Rodgers, nice pick to stop a Orange drive.
Purdue VS. Ball State - Kyle Orton - 23 of 26 (85%) for 329 yards and 5 TDs. We have a hard time doing that on NCAA 2005 video game on the XBOX.
Purdue @ Illinois - Kyle Orton - 35 of 50 for 366 yards and 4 TDs. Taylor Stubblefield played well as he has all year and Brandon Jones was a force.
Purdue @ Notre Dame - Kyle Orton - 21 of 31 for 385 yards for 4 TDs. Anthony Spencer was in the ND backfield all day. Jerome Brooks returned a kick off 101 yards for a TD. Kudos to Wallman for representing RBT @ South Bend, perhaps I was the jinx all these years. Great Job by the coaching staff to keep the offensive play book open all game!
Purdue @ Penn State - Defense!!! Ben Jones!! Dorien Bryant and Kyle Ingram!.
Purdue VS. Wisconsin - Brent Grover - Brandon Villeriel
Purdue VS. Michigan - Dave Brytus - punted 10 times for a 43.4 average.
Purdue @ Northwestern - Charles Davis we guess. We really didnt want to give it to anyone.
Purdue @ Iowa - Defense - During the losing streak the D has been great except for 1 drive per game. The O has not helped them at all.
Purdue VS. Ohio State - Brian Hickman - Kyle Orton - Kyle Ingram - Dave Brytus - Brandon Kirsh - Brandon Jones - Turkey Ruben
Purdue VS IU - Lets give it to Taylor Stubblefield. Others guys played better Saturday, but the game of NCAA football has been going on for a long, long time and no one has caught more passes then Taylor. No one.
Purdue VS ASU - Dave Brytus - Evidently the punting phase is the ONLY part Purdue practiced going into the bowl game.
ROWE BROTHERS TAILGATE PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2004
KYLE INGRAM - Kyle came through for the Boilers every chance he was asked to,
2) Kyle Orton - Choke VS. Wisconsin
3) Talor Stubblefield - Choke VS. Northwestern

Purdue @ Wake Forest - Ben Jones - defense in the second half. Ben is becomming one of our favorite Boilers!
Purdue VS. Arizona - BLACK UNIFORMS!! DUH!!
Purdue VS. Notre Dame - Craig Terril, with a nod to Ben Jones. (could Ben be making a run at RBT player of the year?)
Purdue VS. Illinois - The offensive line. Run for 324 yards on 67 carries and dominate the time of possession 39:19 to 20:25 means you are far more physical up front then the other team.
Purdue VS. Penn State - Anthony Chambers sets the table and Brandon Jones punches out the Lion D. A nod to J. Reeves, who we belive is the fastest Boilermaker for his awesome hustle on the Chambers punt return for a TD.
Purdue @ Wisconsin - Kile Orton pitches a perfect game and Ben Jones kicks the Boilers into first place in the Big Ten.
Purdue @ Michigan - Ben Slayton - 10 Punts. The rest of the Boilers just peed down the side of their leg, as usual when playing at michigan.
Purdue VS. Northwestern - Gilbert Gardener was all over the field with 9 tackels - 2 for losses of 11 yards and 2 fumble recoveries. Craig Terril had 3 tackles for loss and 2 sacks.
Purdue VS. Iowa - Special teams with a nod to Void. Well done fellows!
Purdue @ Ohio State - All the linebackers played well, all the mistakes were in the kicking game and on offense.
Purdue @ IU - Jerod Void, I really can't think of another player who showed up. Nick Pilipauskis did a nice job filling in at the center spot.
Purdue VS UGA - Craig Terril - Ben Jones. Craig palyed hard from the get go, Ben made every field goal we needed.

Purdue VS. Minnesota - Ralph Turner, his INT turned the game around
